Dinner for a Dollar

DINNER FOR A DOLLAR is a community supper.  In cooperation with an increasing number of community partners, we serve a delicious, wholesome, home-cooked meal, including beverage and dessert, every Friday night from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Grace and St John’s; every Saturday night from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Hamden Plains United Methodist Church; every Sunday from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm from our food truck at 1935 State Street; and first and third Thursdays from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Christian Tabernacle Church on Newhall Street.  All are welcome.

NOTE:  Beginning September 1, 2026, parking is no longer available for us in the lot behind the DeMatteo building next door to the church.  There are some 2 dozen spaces available on the church property itself, but if you are able to walk from the Hamden Police Department lot across Dixwell Avenue, or one of the other nearby public parking lots, please leave the spaces next to the church for those with limited mobility.  Thank you.
