OUTREACH MINISTRIES

Serving Our Neighbors

The promises we make at our baptism include vows to
“seek and serve Christ in all persons, loving our neighbor as ourselves,” and to
“strive for justice and peace, and respect the dignity of every human being.”

We welcome volunteers from the wider community to join us
in any of the many ways we reach out to our neighbors.

Dinner for a Dollar

Our community suppers, on site and with our food truck, feed bodies and spirits and build community.

Parish Garden

We reaped a bountiful harvest in 2023 from our new vegetable garden, and this is just the beginning!

We are the home base for this dynamic ministry of forging guns into garden tools, and have supported it and watched it grow.

NOTE:  Beginning September 1, 2026, parking is no longer available for us in the lot behind the DeMatteo building next door to the church.  There are some 2 dozen spaces available on the church property itself, but if you are able to walk from the Hamden Police Department lot across Dixwell Avenue, or one of the other nearby public parking lots, please leave the spaces next to the church for those with limited mobility.  Thank you.
