We have not celebrated the Great Vigil of Easter for several years. This year, in full collaboration with Christ the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, we are privileged to be the site for a very special joint Episcopal-Lutheran celebration of the Great Vigil.

 

It will begin with lighting the New Fire in the predawn darkness at 4:30 am on Sunday March 31, and culminate with the first Eucharist of Easter at dawn, followed by a fellowship breakfast.

 

There will be seven readings at the Vigil, renewal of baptismal vows, and much singing and movement. Don't miss it!

 

At 9:00 am, our customary Sunday morning hour, we will celebrate a festive Holy Eucharist with favorite traditional Easter hymns.
