Judy was a life-long Episcopalian, first at St James', New Haven, then St Paul’s in Wallingford, and finally St John’s in Yalesville.  She and Glenn were married at St John’s and she traveled with him during his Navy service. They lived in Boston and Pensacola, Florida.  Judy was a stay-at-home mom when her daughters were young.  When she went back to work, she loved being a secretary in the Wallingford school system, and spent many years at Moses Y. Beach and Mary J. Frtiz Schools before her retirement.  Glenn died in 2012.

At St John the Evangelist, Judy was part of the vestry and altar guild, served as assistant treasurer, and organized the parish’s twice-yearly tag sales.  She was an enthusiastic gardener and coordinated the arrangement with Beaumont Farm in Wallingford whereby customers mentioning the name of the church would lead to the garden center giving the church a percentage of sales revenue.

A celebration of Judy’s life was held on Friday, January 5, 2024, at Grace and St John's. Interment is private. For those who wish to honor Judy, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
